Reason #19

I look like I'm 14.  At least that's what I was told most recently.
I went to my cousin Matt's graduation party, and my brother (Luke Alan) and  I were sitting and talking with Uncle Bob, and his sisters. We were chit chating, making all the usual small talk, and they asked us how old we were. I told them that I was 20, which I am btw, and they looked at me like I was the worst liar they had ever seen. Then promptly tried to call me out on it. They finally believed me when I offered to show them my drivers license. I asked them how old they thought I was, and they said if they were being generous, they would say I was 14. At least it's a step up from when I was told I looked like I was 12, not that it's much better, but every little bit counts I guess. On a side note, they guessed Luke Alan's age of 17 right off. So they aren't just really bad guessers of age (age guessers? at guessing ages?)

Now every time I see a cute guy look at me then look away I want to yell after him "WAIT! I promise I'm not 14! I am legal! I really really am!" ...? Probably a little too melodramatic, right? And maybe a little too creepy, I guess we'll just have to see how fed up I get with people thinking I'm a preteen/young teen this summer.

Reason number I don't remember

Disclaimer: Yes Kate, I know you will see this.

The people I babysit for have taken it upon themselves to play matchmaker for me. I did not ask. I've never complained about being single. They just decided to set me up. This is my life apparently. Thanks guys. And since I know that Kate is reading this, thats all I'm going to say :)

Reasons 16 and 17

Reason 16
I have a problem. I love Camaro's. And Corvette's. But mostly Camaro's. I may or may not(okay, I do) have the bad habit of dropping everything to watch a Camaro drive down the street. Sound ridiculous? Yes, yes it does. But it's even more ridiculous when you're on the bus, talking with Kari and you stop mid sentence to watch a beautiful black Camaro drive by(and then you forget what you were talking about). It's like Doug from Up! and squirrels. Speaking of:

Reason 17
We love Disney. Last year we would sit in Kelsey's room watching Disney movies on VHS. For my birthday Kari got me Finding Nemo and Rachel got me Lilo Stitch(they stuck with an aquatic theme). I sing along to Beauty and The Beast when I'm babysitting. Yes, we're in college. We are awesome.

Reason #15

I can't watch sad movies. Last night I was watching this movie Hatchi and then all of a sudden, the main guy dies. He just up and dies! For no reason whatsoever! It was awful. I started crying. I had to stop watching it. There is no way I am going to finish it either. It is way too sad. I get way to emotional when it comes to dumb things like that. I blame my mom. She does that all the time. She never watches the end of The Last of the Mohicans. So it's not just me who does this. Although it doesn't really make it any better.

Side note, I am sitting here at my desk, Rachel is sitting on my bed, and she starts panting like a dog. For no reason what so ever other than that she feels like it. When I ask her if she is panting, she starts giggling ( so I do too) and she says, "Maybe..." I don't think that counts as a full reason, but it kinda shows how weird we all really are, or at least how weird Rachel and I are.

Reason #13 and #14

Reason #13

We wear matching outfits. In the above picture Liz, Kari, and I (Rachel) are wearing the same outfit. We're super cool. And we went to Walmart like that. Awesome.

Reason #14

Snickers salad, which, personally, I think is a bigger reason for guys to come over. I mean, it counts as cooking. So really, that's a plus. But we are going to eat all of it. And probably not share with other people. So maybe that makes us pigs instead. Hm, well how ever you want to interpret it.
But right now we have Snickers salad. And later we'll have red velvet cupcakes. You're jealous, we know.

Reason #12

This one is mostly just specific to me, but it does relate.

I have NO time. Literally, this semester I'm always extremely busy. Which I mean, is a good thing, I love it, but I don't have time. Even if I had a boyfriend, it would be just another thing to stress me out (I mean, a good thing that would stress me out, but still... stress).

And the fact that I'm so busy means that I basically live in the Design building and at work (example of living in Design building above, and thats not even a good example). Those are basically the only place I go if I'm not in the apartment (and when I'm there I'm doing homework or sleeping). So I can't meet anyone anyway.

But hey, I may not have a boyfriend, but I can design you a Flash presentation or a website now. And I think thats pretty super awesome.
